Freedom Crane is a crane service company on the Gulf Coast. We repair, install, inspect and supply parts for overhead cranes, hoists and jibs — and we answer the phone when a crane goes down.
Freedom Crane started in a single service truck. The idea was simple: plants on the Gulf Coast were waiting days for a technician and weeks for a part, and losing money the whole time. We decided to be the company that shows up.
Today we run a fleet of service trucks and a parts inventory stocked for the equipment our customers actually own. Our technicians are trained to CMAA standards and carry the tooling to finish the job on the first trip whenever it is possible to do so.
We work in paper mills, chemical plants, fabrication shops, machine shops, ports and warehouses. The equipment is different in every one. The expectation is the same everywhere: the crane runs, the paperwork is right, and the bill matches the quote.

We show up
A crane that is down is a line that is down. Emergency calls are answered by a person, any hour, and we tell you honestly when we can be there.
The price is the price
You get the number before the work starts. If we find something else once the covers are off, we stop and call you rather than adding it to the invoice.
The paperwork is right
Inspection reports, load test certificates and deficiency lists are written to hold up when OSHA asks for them, and we keep copies so you are not hunting for last year.
